Following Leaving

In my last semester of college, I had to take one other photography class, besides my senior portfolio, to complete my degree. Photography 141 is typically a junior level 4x5 film class to further deepen film development skills. 

I used this last class to create a project based on my last semester living in the CSU, Sacramento residential halls.  I have been living on their campus for my entire college career and it wasn't until my last critique that it hit me that I was leaving my home of four years.  

I was slowly documenting areas in my dorm space that I was constantly seeing everyday. The habits I had developed and the small things I knew I was going to keep forever. 

I learned to appreciate the experience of living on campus and creating wonderful memories with my roommates.
